Customer Service & Fulfillment Policies

  1. Cancellation Policy
  • Standard Cancellations: You may receive a 100% refund if the cancellation is submitted in writing to Cardinalairdirect@gmail.com within one (1) business day, provided the order has not yet shipped.
  • Late Cancellations: Orders cancelled after one business day are subject to a 15% restocking fee, provided item has not been shipped.
  • Shipped Orders: Once an item has shipped, it cannot be cancelled.
  • Refused Deliveries: If an order is refused at delivery (for reasons other than visible damage), a 20% restocking fee plus all original and return shipping costs will be charged to the customer.
  1. Returns & Refunds
  • Standard Returns: Eligible items may be returned within 14 days of receipt, subject to a 20% restocking fee and deduction of all freight costs. Including original shipping cost incurred by Cardinal Air Direct under any “free shipping” promotion.
  • Condition Requirements: Items must be in "like-new" condition, uninstalled, and in the original, undamaged packaging with all manufacturer documentation included. The original box must be neatly taped with clear tape (no colored tape is accepted). Cardinal Air Direct will not issue a refund if original boxes are missing
  • Processing Time: Please allow up to 30 DAYS for refund processing once the equipment is received and inspected.
  1. Shipping & Damage Claims
  • Inspection: Customers must report incorrect or short-shipped items to Cardinal Air Direct within 24 hours of receipt. Shortages must be noted on the delivery receipt at the time of arrival.
  • Damages: Visibly damaged shipments must be refused at the time of delivery. While we will assist with the claims process, the final resolution rests with the delivering carrier.

  1. Installation & Liability
  • Professional Requirement: Federal law requires that only licensed professionals handle refrigerants. All equipment must be installed by a certified contractor to ensure safety and maintain warranty validity.
  • Assumption of Risk: Cardinal Air Direct is not liable for consequential or inconsequential damages resulting from the installation or operation of equipment. Customers performing DIY installations accept all associated risks.
  1. Warranty Policy
  • Manufacturer’s Warranty: All equipment includes a manufacturer’s warranty covering parts only. Labor and shipping costs for replacement parts are the responsibility of the customer.
  • Registration: We strongly recommend registering your equipment immediately upon installation. Proof of professional installation must be submitted within 45 days of receipt to validate coverage.
  • Claims: A licensed contractor must provide a written diagnosis on a formal service ticket to validate any warranty part claim.
  1. Important Notices
  • Equipment Selection: Sizing and compatibility should be confirmed by a local professional prior to purchase. Cardinal Air Direct does not guarantee fitment for a particular application without an on-site inspection.
  • Accuracy: We reserve the right to correct typographical errors regarding pricing or product descriptions and may cancel orders placed with incorrect information at our discretion.
